When I was a kid, Colombia was thought as the most dangerous country – rife with crime and cocaine. I was lucky to visit in 2009 when most of the danger had subsided. I could see myself visiting Colombia again some day. Visiting in December is a great time – there are great Christmas lights in all the cities, a party atmosphere, and the wonderful Salsa festival in Cali.
